What are you offering and who is it for? Dating solutions for single Millennials in San Diego, CA
Where do you stand right now and what is your number one priority? Launched 1 month ago, growing awareness. Need better marketing tactics but amp up more social events and increase enrolled matchmaking members
What makes you and your team the best fit for building your product? I am included in the target market so understand the specific client pain points. Became a certified date coach and have a background in behavioral therapy plus worked several yrs in recruitment where I gained the sales and operational skills of the business.
What makes this time perfect for your product to hit market? Finding love is never going to go out of style and people are always interested in seeking new opportunities that relate to them, especially in a hyper digitalized world reimplementing human interaction is valuable. Through COVID more people have reported feeling lonely and would prioritize finding life partner.
Tell us about your go to market strategy. Presently it is all word of mouth and my preferred social media platform is Instagram. I am creating my own content so it has positive tones, millennial phrases and appeals to both genders in terms of aesthetics. I have a low budget and definitely gather inspiration from other date coaches and matchmakers but believe I am original and ambitious in all the varied services we provide at Keen Dating Co.

  1. Super Sarah! I am a big fan of social apps, especially in this day and age dating is a very entangled concept advertised. We are looking for solutions that go beyond Bumble and co. I love the idea of small meetings with like-minded people. But now to the hard marketing facts 🙂 Especially at the beginning, I would focus on one of the three services. Because it is important to grow fast and healthy. I personally would invest time and money in online dating and offer the other areas as a nice additional service. For example, once a month dinner at Silver Strand, Uhh I miss San Diego 🙂

    Why Dating Coaching? As a strategy, it makes sense because you can piggyback on existing dating sites to acquire users. Which will surely bring you thousands of users in the first year. Who would not like to have a second opinion on relationship issues? The website is an own topic, I like that it is clear and personal, but as mentioned above, it could focus more on one service and you have to ask yourself the question, if you want to be so personal in the beginning or if you want to build a company brand. Both can work very well. I love that you are passionate about bringing people together so that they can lead a happier life. Keep crushing it 🙂

  2. Dating is huge! Waiting for the next innovation to fix what tinder messed up. I wonder if your local pain points are similar like ours here in Berlin. Tinder was convenient and fast yes but it totally messed with peoples brains and destroyed every kind of romance or effort. my view on that.. So. I support any dating format out there that is up for a change is very welcomed. So it might be the perfect timing. Focussing on a target group always makes sense but i wouldnt write that on the website, you can direct users if they’re suitable or not by language or design. also i am 40 and still consider myself 25 so i am your target group but no a millennial and you would have lost me
    If i see the word modern i always think it’s not modern.. its the same feeling you get when someone tells you i’m honest. why telling me?
    I am always strict with men because their products most of the times are made by men and look exactly like made by men. same is true though for some female founders… dating brands should be gender neutral even more important these days. Also you’re such a cool and bright personality, if we say dating should be again be more personal and approachable you should be the face of your product, especially with the coaching component. Make this YOUR mission give it your face and i will sign up 🙂 bumble’s founder was the story a lot of people knew but she never made herself visible.
    i didnt exactly get the key differentiator. is it 1:1 coachings or a community? thats contradicting right? also here focus on one approach at first. with your background coaching or online coaching would be a good starting point. so summing up: dating is huge, the pain always on and waiting desperately for improvement. tinder was for guys, bumble made a bit better of a job, bring back romance and real effort to dating, coaching can help with that. lots of potentials.
